Inspiring Deeper Volunteer Engagement

March 25, 12:00-2:00pm

An engaged volunteer is an independent worker, an advocate for your mission, and a leader of other volunteers. How do you get and keep that engaged volunteer? By choosing the right volunteers for the right positions, defining expectations, offering effective training, and giving your volunteer the necessary guidance, you can develop a volunteer force that will maximize the impact of your programs. Creating an effective plan for volunteer supervision allows you to support and develop your volunteers into leaders.

As the on-the-ground experts in volunteer management, we will be turning to you to drive this session and to share your successes and challenges from the field. Using the World Café discussion model, we will drill down to the core of what inspires volunteers to engage and best practices for recruitment, training, and retention to develop committed, independent volunteers to move your mission forward.
